On Sept 8th we shared our vision of inviting people into a better way that leads to life as we launched our Beacon Loves Project.

Jesus said in John 8:12:

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

This is where we’ve birthed “Beacon Loves.” As we experience this new life in Jesus and follow Him, I truly believe that the best way for us to love people generously is by inviting them into the same experience. Our call has, and continues to be, an invitation for people into: “A better way that leads to life.”

This leads us to see a Beacon as someone who shines the truth, hope and light of Jesus wherever they go in their community, collectively becoming what we call Beacon Church. Just imagine for a moment, the illumination of southern NH as each Beacon shines brightly for Jesus in their community.

God has moved in so many ways through Beacon and as we celebrate our 3rd birthday in September of this year, we believe that God has given direction to faithfully step into the next stage of Beacon’s journey and continue to ask ourselves: "Who is God calling us to invite today into a better way that leads to life?”

Remind me

Our prayer is that our community would do two things: continue, or start, to give generously to the general fund, as this enables us to do our week to week ministry, and ask God to provide an additional amount to give generously to our Beacon Loves fund, as we reach our goal of 100% participation.

We hope that as a church God will provide a way for us to reach our goal of a 100% participation as we continue to live sent on mission here at Beacon. We invite you to prayerfully consider and connect with us on how you can partner with your time, talent and treasure.

the Beacon Loves FAQs

Why are we launching this campaign now?

God has been faithfully adding people in our community and we see the need, not only for a new facility, but to reach a next stage of investing in our staff, leaders and accomplish our vision and mission as a church. We want to be able to strategically reach more people for Jesus.

How was this decision made and who helped make it?

This decision was made by our Beacon Partnership Team who leads and governs the church, made up of local and national church leaders. It was something we've been dreaming, praying and looking as a team over the course of the 3 years of faithfully gathering at the YMCA.

When will the campaign start and end?

This is a 3 year campaign that will start in September of 2024 and run through August of 2027.

What will this money be used for?

New facility costs, investing in new and existing leaders as we build our Beacon team and bridge the gap in our annual budget as we stopped receiving global support and become self sufficient financially.

When will we be in the new facility?

With your help and generosity, the construction is projected to start in September, 2024 and we plan to be in the new facility at the beginning of December, 2024.

Why are we choosing to lease and not own a facility?

We believe God wants us to focus on kingdom building rather than real estate business. For the real estate market we are located in and the life of our church, we believe it's the best way of being good stewards of our resources and maximize our impact in our community.

How will this impact Beacon Kids and other ministries?

This will allow us to create a secure, fun, and age-appropriate environment for our Beacon Kids, enabling us to invest in our children’s lives both on Sundays and throughout the week.
Additionally, it will increase our ministry capacity at Beacon, allowing us to use a 24/7 space while continually evaluating all ministries through our mission and values.

How can I participate?

  • Pray - God invites us to ask and promises to provide everything we need to do everything that He is calling us to do. However, scripture is clear that God wants us to ask for provision, so please join us in praying for Beacon.
  • Promote - be a proponent for what God is doing through Beacon and invite people to join us.
  • Participate - come to church, join us in our events, and prayerfully ask God how you can give financially for us to reach more people for His kingdom.
  • Partner - take the next step of becoming a Beacon Partner as you join our community.

What does this mean for our relationship with the YMCA?

We are thankful for all the ways that the YMCA partnership has enabled us to become Beacon Church, and we will continue to look for ways to partner with them through our Beacon Events and Beacon Loves initiatives.

Will this change anything for impacting the town of Londonderry?

Our focus has always been to be a local church with a regional reach, aiming to become a multiplying church by launching new gospel-centered communities. With many families and partners from across the region, we will continue to focus on reaching Derry, Londonderry, and several other towns in southern New Hampshire.
